The Edifier W820NB Plus is a wireless over-ear ANC headphone that streams LDAC (Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified), cancels noise to a rated depth of -43 dB, and is rated for up to 49 hours of SBC playback with ANC off. It fits Android users, students and commuters who want high-bitrate wireless sound and long battery life.
Who the Edifier W820NB Plus is for
Android phone owners: LDAC works with Android phones, not iPhones. It ships switched off, so enable it once in the Edifier Connect app to get the higher-bitrate stream.
Bus, train and plane commuters: The hybrid ANC does its best work on steady low-frequency noise such as engine rumble, cabin drone and HVAC hum; voices are only partly reduced.
Students and home workers: Edifier rates the battery at up to 49 hours with ANC off and 33 hours with it on, enough for several long study or work days per charge.
Casual gaming and video: Game mode brings latency down to as low as 0.08 s, though it switches the connection from LDAC back to SBC while it is on.
Skip it if: you use an iPhone or need a 3.5 mm cable: there is no AAC, so iPhones fall back to SBC, and wired listening runs over USB-C only.
