The HIFIMAN HE-R10D is the wired version of HIFIMAN's closed-back dynamic driver over-ear, made for home, studio and recording use. It is HIFIMAN's homage to a legendary closed-back shape, executed with a dynamic driver rather than a planar.

The wired build makes it a straightforward choice for tracking and monitoring where you cannot have latency or a dead battery, and the closed cups keep bleed out of a microphone. Dynamic drivers are generally friendlier to modest sources than planars, so a decent dongle DAC or audio interface output will get you most of the way there.
