The PR3 uses a 13.2mm flat (planar) driver rather than the dynamic or BA arrangements KZ is better known for, tuned for HiFi monitoring with bass presence. It is one of the cheapest routes into planar in-ear sound.

Planar IEMs generally reward a source with some power behind it, so pair it with a proper dongle DAC rather than a motherboard jack if you want it at its best.
