The Sennheiser E945 is a wired supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone for live work — the tighter-pattern sibling to the cardioid E935.

Supercardioid narrows the pickup up front and shifts rejection to the rear sides, which helps on crowded stages with multiple monitors or a loud drummer just off-axis. Being a dynamic, it shrugs off high SPL and rough handling, so it's the safe choice for bar gigs and karaoke nights. If your stage is quiet and controlled, the wider cardioid E935 is more forgiving of a singer who moves; if you're fighting bleed and feedback, the E945 is the one.
