The Shanling ME800 is the high-end end of Shanling's IEM line: a six-driver hybrid per side, two dynamic drivers paired with four balanced armatures. Two dynamics is the notable part — it keeps more of the low end and lower mids on air-moving drivers instead of pushing everything above the bass onto armatures.

The cable is MMCX with interchangeable 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm terminations in the box, so it works across older balanced DAPs, standard single-ended sources, and modern 4.4mm outputs without buying a second cable. MMCX also means the aftermarket cable world is wide open if you want to roll. Give these a real source — a DAP or a capable dongle — rather than a laptop jack.
