The KA17 is a pocket-size dongle DAC/amp built around dual ES9069Q chips and THX AAA 78+ amplification, pushing up to 650mW per channel balanced in desktop mode — enough for most planars and higher-impedance dynamics that usually defeat a dongle.

Both 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm outputs are onboard, along with a real display and 10-band PEQ through the FiiO Control app, so you can tune a headphone's tonality and save it to the device. Desktop mode is where the full power lives, so run it from a powered source when you need it; on a phone, expect it to draw accordingly.
