The HIFIMAN EF500 is a DAC/amplifier that doubles as a headphone stand, built around HIFIMAN's Hymalaya LE R2R DAC and with streaming media support onboard. R2R ladder DACs are a different design philosophy from the usual delta-sigma chips, and they have a devoted following for their tonal character.
