The SMSL D400 Pro is a full-size desktop DAC built around the AK4191 modulator paired with the AK4499EX converter — the Velvet Sound split-architecture approach — with an XMOS XU316 handling USB. Inputs cover optical and coaxial alongside USB, plus Bluetooth, and it decodes up to 32bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512 with MQA-CD support.
